Associate Producer, Elaine Masters reports from San Diego--It started when nine-year old Dan Schlossberg was watching the World Series with his dad. Hanging on every play his dad explained changed his life.
Dan has been an avid baseball fan ever since and he's written 36 books about baseball.
His first book along with his latest, "When the Braves Ruled the Diamond: Fourteen Flags over Atlanta", are about the Atlanta Braves.
The phone call Schlossberg took on his last day in college set him on the path to become a sports writer.
He took a job offer to be the New Jersey AP Sports Editor. After working in radio and newspapers for years he was hired by Motoring Magazine. covering travel destinations and group tours.
Today, his schedule remains grueling as he produces two podcasts weekly--sports and travel. He does book signings and covers events such as the All Star Festivities in San Diego. Dan will be at the Baseball Hall of Fame signing books in the fall.
