The Friends of El Moro Elfin Forest will celebrate the Elfin Forest’s 30th Anniversary as a San Luis Obispo County Park. Board Member and long-time volunteer, Pat Brown, will present the story of how the Elfin Forest came to be a County Park and nature preserve. Also on the agenda is a short video presentation of “Mammals of the Elfin Forest” that Board Member Skip Rotstein “captured” on the edge of the Elfin Forest using his trail cameras. Following the presentations will be a short business meeting. RSVP by October 9. Parking is available on the north side of Ramona Avenue next to Sweet Springs Nature Preserve. Doors open at 11:30 am for viewing of Historical Display. Program will begin promptly at 12:00 pm.
