After two years of construction, the new $39 million San Luis Obispo Airport opened on November 1. The county's Director of Airports, Kevin Bumen, talks with correspondent Tom Wilmer about the attributes of the new terminal, enhanced parking, and the fast-changing world of commercial aviation as it impacts San Luis Obispo.
The airport continues to stretch its wings with direct connections to hub-cities such as Seattle and Denver, with Dallas, and other hubs on the horizon.
