My haul from wandering the aisles of the Co-Op

In this second exploration of Food Co-Ops, Fr Ian roams the aisles to find the most intriguing foods to cook with. He dives in to play with food in his kitchen to create some delicious foods and drinks. Then he chats with the President of the Board of the emerging Paso Food Co-Op.

Mulberry Coctail — The Mulberry Cocktail was worth the work of cleaning up the standing mixer and attachments used to remove the pulp from the long central stem of the mulberry

Rice Tostadas — Using Jade Rice and Black Forbidden Rice, Fr Ian makes tostadas - jade, black and mixed. Each type of fried rice cake is topped with each of two toppings: a deconstructed Borscht, and Shrimp & Avocacdo

The Sancha Ichi Pie with Brown Rice Syrup is a substitute for Pecan Pie. Suitable for people with nut allergies, and just as delicious...maybe not quite as sweet.
