Cayucos resident Robert Kittle talks with correspondent Tom Wilmer about his new book Franciscan Frontiersmen—how Three Adventurers Charted the West, published by the University of Oklahoma Press.

Robert Kittle’s career as a journalist included a three-year stint as a White House correspondent, frequent appearances on the MacNeil Lehrer Report, hosting television and radio shows, and two decades as the Editorial Page Editor of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
