The man suspected of killing a Santa Barbara-area family is facing three counts of First Degree Murder with a possibility for the Death Penalty if found guilty.
Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce Dudley announced the charges Tuesday afternoon against 26-year-old Pierre Haobsh of Oceanside.
"Since this has been filed as a Special Circumstance Murder case, if the defendant is found guilty he could face the Death Penalty or Life Without Possibility of Parole," Dudley said in a media statement.
This decision will be made by the District Attorney at a later date, likely after the Preliminary Hearing.

The Santa barbara County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest of Pierre Haobsh, 27, of Oceanside on Friday. He was arrested in San Diego County in possession of a gun and items from the Han family home.
Dr. Han's ran the Santa Barbara Herb Clinic and investigators said Haobsh was a business associate of his.
Sheriff Bill Brown said the motive was financial and called the suspect "diabolical" during a press conference Friday afternoon.
Charges are expected to be announced early next week.

The bodies of 57-year-old Dr. Weidong Henry Han, his 29-year-old wife Huijie Yu (Jenny) and their 5-year-old-daughter Emily Han, who was a kindergartner at Foothill Elementary School were found Wednesday night according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators in Santa Barbara County are trying to figure out how three people ended up dead at a home situated between Santa Barbara and Goleta.
The Sheriff's Office says deputies were called out to the home on the 4600 block of Greenhill Way Wednesday night to do a welfare check, and quickly figured out that the home was a crime scene.
As of Thursday night, the Coroner's Office had positively identified the victims and were notifying next of kin.
Spokesperson Kelly Hoover said investigators were "working around the clock" to determine who is responsible for this "horrific crime."
"Detectives are following up on all leads and while they are not ruling out any possibilities, early indications are that this was not a random attack," Hoover said in a media statement.
