Workers in San Luis Obispo County have the best job environments in the U.S., according to a new nationwide survey.
The annual Gallup Well-Being poll ranks SLO Co. number one in the workplace category. And the area's accolades don't stop there. The San Luis Obispo-Paso Robles area ranked in the top ten for overall well-being too, tied for No. 6 with Naples-Marco Island, Fla. and Ann Arbor, Mich.
“San Luis Obispo has a history of fostering and attracting businesses that know the value of high employee job satisfaction and positive workplace interactions,” said San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ermina Karim. “These rankings continue to validate why San Luis Obispo is such a great place to pursue your passions.”
Other California cities to make the overall list include No. 5 San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara and No. 9 San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont.
