A Central Coast company is considered one of the Top Ten tech firms to work for in the United States. San Luis Obispo-based MindBody made the ranking on a survey by the employment website GlassDoor.
Company Co-Founder and Cal Poly alum Rick Stollmeyer says they're thrilled about the survey's results.
He says MindBody represents a growing trend of new firms choosing San Luis Obispo as their base.
"You're seeing a really exciting Renaissance of start-ups, many of them technology but they're across all different types of businesses, that are fueling our economy here," said Stollmeyer.
Stollmeyer also said he's happy about the city council's decision to override the Airport Land Use Commission in an effort to move forward with the general plan update known as LUCE (Land Use and Circulation Element). He says workforce housing is among the top challenges of being based in San Luis Obispo.
