A Habitat for Humanity project in Paso Robles is such a success that it’s becoming an example for the organization of how to best use resources.

The Sierra Bonita neighborhood has 479 homes, many of which are owned or rented by seniors living solely on their social security benefits.

The two year project has been recognized by the international organization as a best practice model.

Julia Ogden, Chief Executive Officer at Habitat for Humanity for San Luis Obispo County, joined Issues & Ideas to discuss the project and how it can serve as an example for future projects in the area, including one in Oceano.
