Learning Inspired by Nature

Jun 30, 2016

Broadcast date: 6/30/16

The vision of One Cool Earth is to create a peaceful, abundant planet with a healthy environment for all. They do this by supporting outdoor education, neighborhood gardens and community tree plantings. Real planting, they believe, takes place when ideas and youth connect, so they aim to plant the seeds of education, inspiration, and empowerment to help youth take charge of their futures.

Join host Fred Munroe as he speaks Greg Ellis-Valencia, Executive Director with One Cool Earth, and Victoria Carranza, Education Director with One Cool Earth as they discuss the value of outdoor education to student health, academics, and well-being.

Central Coast Voices is sponsored by ACTION for Healthy Communities in collaboration with KCBX and made possible through underwriting by Joan Gellert-Sargen.
