The pilot killed in a single-engine plane crash yesterday morning in Northern Ventura County is being identified as film composer James Horner.
Horner composed film scores for 'Titanic', 'Apollo 13' and 'Braveheart,' among others award-winning works.
His agency says they are awaiting official confirmationthat he was the pilot of the single-engine aircraft involved in the fatal accident.
The National Transportation Safety Board is handling the investigation.
