While some stress can be good for you, if stress becomes chronic it can result in anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure and even a weakened immune system. Stress has even been shown to contribute to health conditions such as depression, obesity and heart disease. Learning healthy ways to manage stress is vital for maintaining your overall health.
