Marina del Rey in LA County is one of the largest man made marinas in the world. It’s the home of multi-million dollar luxury yachts to a flotilla of sailboats and powerboats, and funky live-aboards.

Hollywood and its stars have maintained a love affair with Marina del Rey for decades, not only to sip and savor and hide out--but to utilize the locale as a film location for untold movies and TV shows.

Recent silver screen credits include the Meddler with Susan Sarandon, and Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper where scenes were filmed aboardHornblower Cruises’ yachts.

A sampler of TV shows filmed aboard Hornblower yachts include The Bachelor, Hell’s Kitchen, Arrested Development, CSI, NCIS, and Revenge.

Hornblower’s yachts are also popular with locals and visitors for harbor sunset sails, Sunday brunch cruises, and chartering entire yachts for weddings and special events.

Join Mia Falkenstein, Director of Hornblower’s Public Cruises for the inside scoop on Marina del Rey and Hornblower Cruises connection with Hollywood.
