Broadcast date: 8/13/2015

As another election cycle approaches, citizens on the Central Coast have a number of important choices to make that will help determine the fate of our community and the nation as a whole.

Join host Fred Munroe as he speaks with Michael Latner, Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the Master of Public Policy Program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Lindsey Lupo, Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institute of Politics and Public Service at Point Loma Nazarene University, as they discuss the issues that are shaping the 2016 election cycle, recent trends in local and national voting behavior, and the challenges that citizens face in 21st century democracy.

Central Coast Voices is sponsored by ACTION for Healthy Communities in collaboration with KCBX and made possible through underwriting by Joan Gellert-Sargen.

Fred Munroe is a co-host of the KCBX talk show Central Coast Voices, heard every Thursday afternoon from 1:00-2:00.
