A car ran into a home Thursday afternoon at the corner of Bougainvillea and Hollyhock in San Luis Obispo.
Police officers say the driver of that car tried to get away, but was found a short time later.
Branden Paulson was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail for DUI and Hit and Run.
The home owners were not around at the time of the collision and Paulson was not injured, according to the police report.
