City of San Luis Obispo anticipates opening, searching for new city clerk

The City of San Luis Obispo is searching for a new city clerk in anticipation of their current Master Municipal Clerk's departure.

San Luis Obispo's Anthony Mejia will move to South Pasadena to serve as their Chief Deputy City Clerk. Mejia said he is moving to be closer to his spouse and said he's had a positive experience working with this active and engaged community.

"The city clerk's office has taken on a lot of projects the past two years. We've really implemented our Records Management Program, so that the citizens have access to our city records online," said Mejia. "It's been a great experience."

Meija's tentative start date is in mid-October.
