Experience the Gingerbread Wonderland and the Los OlivosOlde Fashioned Christmas celebration this Saturday, December 5! It’s free and fun for kids all ages in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley wine country community of Los Olivos.
Start the afternoon with a visit to the Grange Hall for the Artisan’s Bazaar for great gifts. Then stroll one block to St. Mark’s In-The-Valley Episcopal Church – just a block from the flagpole in the center of town. Step into the Gingerbread Wonderland and see 100 Gingerbread houses, decorated by local school children, families and artists. Santa will be in the Parlor for free visits from 4-8pm. There will be chefs on hand with food and beverages for purchase. Come along and join correspondent, Tom Wilmer in Los Olivos where he talks with Randal Day, the Priest at St. Marks, and two of his elves, Liz Tyng, co-founder of the Gingerbread Wonderland fundraiser, and Yvonne Lowe, director of St. Marks’ pre-school program.
