Volunteer
KCBX depends on the contribution of the time and talents of over a thousand community volunteers each year, starting with the volunteer Board of Directors and Community Advisory Council. Volunteers answer the phones during our Spring and Fall Pledge Drives, and they are key to the success of the Live Oak Music Festival in June. Planned Giving
Did you know it was possible to support KCBX through gifts of assets other than cash? A "planned gift" may involve a gift of highly appreciated securities; distributions from qualified retirement accounts; life income gifts whereby the donor transfers an asset and retains, or provides for another person or persons, an income for life; charitable lead trusts that may permit people to save on income, gift, and estate taxes; or bequests.
